Birthday Party Planning Made Easy (Plus The Little Gym Party Giveaway)
**Thanks to Hulafrog Frederick and The Little Gym of Frederick for hosting us last week in exchange for this post. All cute kid photos and opinions remain my own.**
We had some serious fun at The Little Gym of Frederick this past weekend. It’s no wonder The Little Gym was named Best Gym Party by Parents Magazine.
The Little Gym of Frederick created a magical ‘Princesses and Pirates’ birthday party experience for Adelyn and her friends. We had The Little Gym completely to ourselves as our qualified instructors lead the fun! The Gym was customized with adventures, activities, and games that coordinated with the princesses and pirates theme. The children were immersed in a wonderful world of make believe.
And do you know what’s the icing on the cupcake about this whole event? Mom and Dad didn’t need to bring a single thing to the party…except for the birthday girl! No showing up early, no cleaning up afterwards. The stress of mingling, managing, and making it all happen disappears with the simple booking of a party. Why didn’t anybody tell me this a month ago when my son turned five?! Year after year despite trying to keep it simple, I spent too much time, energy, and money pulling it together…and don’t get to fully enjoy the special day myself. Adelyn’s mom and dad were free to chat, take photos, play, and help little sisters when they needed it!
Whether a member or non-member, anyone can host a birthday party at The Little Gym (or psst…win one below). The 2-hour themed party package included up to 20 children, a personal party host, all the theme decorations of choice, customized invitations, all the set-up and clean-up, all paper good, pizza, drinks, and cupcakes!
I was struck by how smoothly and seamlessly the party unfolded. Led by the lively and talented Mr. George, the kids enjoyed using their bodies and imaginations to climb castles, find treasures, and more. Inflatables, hula hoops, dancing…oh my. In between activities, the party pals had plenty of free play time to explore the equipment and play areas.
Meanwhile in the party room, there were tiaras for the princesses and a pirate eye patch for the lads! At the end of the party, each child received a goody bag complete with a free 1-week pass to the gym. As for the birthday girl, she received one whole month of free classes and a The Little Gym t-shirt.
Tiffany, the new owner of The Little Gym of Frederick, has been a busy bee creating a fun, safe environment for kids to darn near literally bounce off the walls. Everyone was greeted so warmly when arriving, and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of neat seats for parents to watch their little ones from afar if we needed to step out – handy for the many class offerings for babies through age 12.
Color me tickled to find the rocking chairs designated for mamas like me to feed their babies. I was able to nurse my easily-distracted infant in a quiet place, yet watch the birthday girl blow out her candles through the glass. I didn’t miss a thing, including watching the kids devour their bright cupcakes.
I may be too old to have a Princesses and Pirates party here myself (*sniffle, tear*), but If you are looking for a Pinterest-worthy and stress-free birthday party for a child ages 1-12, this is it! It was the ultimate Birthday Party, and The Little Gym did all the work!
I’m so grateful that Hulafrog keeps me posted about local activities, and helped me discover the new little gem that is The Little Gym. Through November, Hulafrog is giving away a FREE Birthday Party Package at The Little Gym! What theme will you pick?
