October Essential Rewards

So I’m up to my elbows in toddler messes, when the doorbell rings.  I do what any normal mom does…drop to the floor and crawl over to peek out the window, avoiding being seen in my stained yoga pants and unwashed face.  My first thought is, “Oh crap, I probably scheduled a playdate and forgot again!” Whew, not our friends or neighbors or those stinking vacuum salesmen again.  Oh wait…it’s my favorite person!

Well, favorite person of the moment at least…the Fed-Ex driver!  I see that beautiful brown box and remember what day it is!  My essential oils are here!  I continue to hide though (bra-less), until the truck pulls around the corner before I swoop out and rejoice in oily delight!

As fall and winter approach, I had to stock up on this historic oil that supports my family’s immune system and general health.  Young Living’s amazing Thieves essential oil blend was inspired by the legend of four fifteenth-century thieves in France who formulated an aromatic blend composed of cloves, rosemary, and other botanicals to use while robbing graves. When captured, they were offered a lesser sentence in exchange for their secret recipe. Thieves® Household Cleaner –

I use this to clean everything from floors, toys, toilets, walls, laundry, to fruits/veggies.  I love that it is non-toxic, eco-friendly, and biodegradable (with a 100% recyclable bottle). Consisting of ingredients from renewable plant and mineral sources, vegetable-based surfactants compliant with the Green Seal and EPA Design for Environment (DfE) standards, and even more Thieves and lemon essential oils for extra cleaning power, this all-purpose cleaner is perfect for anybody who wants to naturally protect their surroundings and boost their antioxidant support.  Since it is super concentrated, just a capful or two is all I need in water to clean while being safe and sustainable.

Thieves® Foaming Hand Soap –

Wolfberry Crisp Bars –

I wanted to try these naturally-sweetened meal replacement bars since sometimes I feed my son better than myself. I read that “these delicious bars will satisfy your appetite, provide an antioxidant boost to your immune system and supply high-quality protein for muscle building.” They are all-natural and certified dairy kosher, as well.  I love that they are sweetened with low-glycemic blue agave sugar so as to not spike blood sugar levels.  With 16 grams of protein per bar and healthy Omega-3s (walnuts), I didn’t expect them to be such a large size.  Yum, I’ll be ordering these again!

Life 5 Capsules –

This is my high-potency probiotic that I love being able to get through Essential Rewards.  Instead of buying my probiotic elsewhere, I am able to get this at a cheaper price (plus earning points for it).  Straight from the product description: “Life 5™ represents the culmination of years of extensive research. Life 5 builds and restores core intestinal health by providing five clinically proven probiotic strains including two advanced super strains to enhance intestinal health, sustain energy and improve immunity. Life 5 contains 8 billion active cultures and improves colonization up to 10 times.”  Boom.  30 capsules per bottle.  I take one a night.
